Rules Summary for Ladder Players

Summary | Complete Rules

Players who are new to the PATC ladder system may challenge any of the bottom seven players on any singles or doubles ladder. Newcomers should read the complete rules before making their first challenge.

Players who are already on a ladder may challenge any player up to seven places above their current position (excluding inactive players) at the time the challenge is made. In addition, players are allowed 4 wild-card challenges per calendar year, in which they can challenge any player. The score must be reported as a wild-card challenge and will be marked with an "*" on the challenger. Wild-card challenges can only be made by players who are already on the ladders.

In any case, both new and existing ladder participants should check the website or contact the Ladder Chairperson before making challenges to verify that the challenge is valid.

The Club offers the following ladders (in order of popularity). Click the link for current standings.
